This course is designed for students interested in theatre and theatre arts. The course includes theatre history, components of drama, basic stagecraft and a foundation for acting skills and techniques. Students enrolling in this class should limit their registration in drama to this course in the first year only.

This activity-driven course is designed for drama students who want to further develop their acting skills. Emphasis is placed on character and voice development, movement and motivation, and theatrical styles and execution.
18 Weeks/1 Credit/Prerequisite: Fundamentals of Theatre, Dynamics of Acting, and Approval of Production Portfolio
This hands-on course will enable those drama students with interest in technical fields the opportunity to study in depth. Students will discover the history of each technical element and apply its use. Students will be required to produce and participate in touring children’s shows and/or school production.

This course is designed for drama students wanting to pursue post-graduate study in theatre. Students will direct, produce, and act in student productions. Students in this class will be expected to produce a touring children’s show and/or spring showcase.

Students would use previous skills and experience in theatre to take on the role of an intern with the school drama program or a local theatre. An independent study course. Could be taken any semester, any block. Only for fourth year drama students.
